It's A Wonderful Thing To Know What You Like
And so I said, it’s easy.
It really is easy.
To make me happy, that is.
No long lists, carefully considered, as we get closer to birthdays or Christmas.
Sure, I’ll make a list, if I really have to, but it will probably say two words.
Cool books.
That’s all.
Books that are cool.
And books that are interesting.
Nothing else, just that.
And I remind myself of this every time I visit a cool book store.
(But for the sake of honesty, I have to confess that any list might also include the words “cool records” as well)
