Irrational Yet Unshakable

Irrational Yet Unshakable

What is it that makes me so important?

So fascinating. An item of curiosity.

And why would they bother? These people. These people that seem to be taking such an interest in me.

There is an agenda, of course. There is always a reason, even if I don't yet know what it might be, don't yet understand. I suspect, and that is enough.

Enough for now, anyway.

And it's not as if they even try to hide it. I see their faces, it's difficult not to. Sometimes peripheral, often full on.

Dare to challenge, I want you to see me, kind of tactics. They are good. I have to give them that. And these people have no shame. No shame in their pursuit, their relentless pursuit.

But I do see them. And I will understand.

One day, I will.

The faces of Brighton taken during a visit to the fringe festival last weekend.
