Heavy set clouds hanging low over rolling, grey / green fields of winter-short grass, lazily moving in time to the wind, swirling up through a gap in the cliffs way down below by the beach.
Maybe a hint of rain to come, according to the locals, on their way home.
Weather to walk dogs by and for old fashioned cobweb-blowing.
And perfect also, it seems, for admiring new mothers as they settle in for the night with their ever so shaky, and slightly bald, offspring.
A joy to those of us savouring the gloom whilst trying to beat the showers.
