Well Intentioned Passion Is A Joy To See

Well intentioned passion is a joy to see, especially in young people.

And to witness so many students out on the streets of London and across the UK last week in protest at climate change and the way in which generations before them have effectively destroyed their future was, well, a joy.

Sadly, it is no surprise to see and hear that the protests have provoked negativity from some. Perhaps they believe that young people do not deserve a voice. There will also be those who believe that they simply know better than everyone else.

It genuinely does make me sad to believe that we as people are unable or unwilling to look after our planet.

So I took comfort and some pride in seeing young people trying to make a difference.

And whilst hardly a call to action, I would love to see everyone take a real look at the world that we share and do something, anything, to make it a better place for our children.

Now that would be a beautiful thing.
