To Stay At Home Or To Go Out

Did we ever believe that we would live to see a time when isolation was something to attain, to actively seek out and work towards? A time when people, all of us, not just the few, could potentially hold the fate of so many in their hands, when making the simplest of decisions.

Whether to stay at home.

Or to go out.

We are said to be the most social of animals, but now we must find a way to avoid being true to our nature.

Yet the sun is shining. Spring is around the corner and the birds seem just a little louder than usual right now. The skies and streets are quiet and wildlife runs free and safe, for the time being. The messages we are hearing are scary and confusing but I wonder whether nature is also trying to tell us something?

At a time when thinking is occupying more time that usual for most of us, this is, perhaps, one of the more positive thoughts to be crossing our collective minds.
