But Whatever You Can Find, Take It
Time for a break.
To walk away from the stresses and challenges that we all face in our working environment.
Time also to walk away from people for a while.
To create some space and focus on a little self care and contemplation.
Rarely easy but always important.
And at times like this, I am grateful. Grateful that my place of work is located out in the countryside. And blessed that I am able to find birdsong, beauty and solitude on a deserted riverbank or a silent churchyard within minutes.
People rarely take lunch breaks in our modern world. Expectations are too high and there is pressure placed upon us from all directions.
But whatever time you can find, take it.
And wherever you may find yourself, pause and escape for a few minutes. Tune in to whatever makes you happy and enjoy your version of the beautiful spring countryside that I found earlier this week.
